Angel Locsin on playing a mother in One More Try: "May hesitation talaga ko na ready na ba ako tumanggap ng role bilang ina. . . "! Dec 17th 2012, 10:25 Angel Locsin is playing a mother role in her up-coming Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 movie “One More Try”! When it was first offered to her, she has some hesitations on playing a mother. But she took on the challenging role to grow as a versatile actress. On playing a mother role: “May hesitation talaga ko na ready na ba ako tumanggap ng role bilang ina kasi hindi ko pa talaga nae-experience ‘yung pakiramdam dahil hindi pa ako mommy talaga. Ang challenge sa akin, kung kakayanin ko ba? Pero nung prinesent sa akin yung kuwento, ang ganda talaga. Ang ganda talaga na ako na-challenge." On being choosy on taking roles: "Siguro naman dapat naman po talaga. Mapili ako sa mga projects kasi inaalagaan ko rin ang sarili ko. Hindi naman lahat puwede mo tanggapin. Hindi naman lahat babagay sa iyo. Hindi naman lahat kaya mong gawin so pipili tayo ng mga proyektong makakatulong sa career natin, magbibigay ligaya sa mga tao imbes na mainis sila."
