Dawn Zulueta replaces Maricel Soriano in Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin Jan 29th 2013, 02:29     Maricel Soriano is OUT!! Yes folks, Diamond Star Maricel Soriano is out of the new teleserye of ABS-CBN “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin“.   Maricel  was replaced by Ms. Dawn Zulueta. Maricel’s ouster from the teleserye resulted from a disagreement with the lead star, Gerald Anderson. It was reported weeks before the Maricel Soriano allegedly lost her temper while taping the new soap opera. ABS-CBN’s statement on the issue about Maricel Soriano and Gerald Anderson rift: “Due to the unfortunate incident between Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano on the first taping day of ‘Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin,’ ABS-CBN management and the management of Maricel Soriano have agreed that Maricel will no longer be part of the cast. The teleserye starring Gerald Anderson will proceed as scheduled,” read the statement from ABS-CBN. “Star Magic has the utmost confidence not only in Gerald Anderson's exceptional ability as an actor, but also in his unassailable personal character and professional behavior. The incidents that led to the removal of Maricel from Gerald's latest telenovela were not provoked or instigated by Gerald in any manner.” Meanwhile,  Gerad Anderson thanked Dawn Zulueta for accepting the new soap.  Dawn Zulueta and Gerald Anderson worked together before in the movie, “Catch Me I’m In Love” with Sarah Geronimo. source:  PEP
