ABS-CBN reporters Maan Macapagal and Dominic Almelor look into a foiled hostage drama in Quezon City involving a ten-year old boy being taken hostage by his own uncle tomorrow (Jan 9) in "Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo."
It took police authorities four hours to rescue the boy from the suspect named "Lando, "who held his nephew captive with an ice pick in hand. Before the hostage-taking took place, the suspect, who was evidently fidgety and troubled, had walked for six hours from Cavite to Quezon City.
The grandmother of the victim tells her side of the story, from taking in the suspect in her own home and witnessing the hostage drama. Maan and Dominic also provide an expert's insight on what people should do if their relative or friend is held hostage.
Don't miss "Pinoy True Stories: Saklolo" tomorrow (Jan 9) on ABS-CBN, 4:45 PM in Kapamilya Gold. For updates on the two programs, follow @PinoyTruStories on Twitter.
