Broadcast journalist Karen Davila looks into the conflict between former live-in partners that brewed when one of them allegedly left and stole the other's savings tomorrow (Feb 19) in "Pinoy True Stories: Engkwentro."
Twenty two-year old Ken and 44-year old John have been living together for a year. Ken had arrived in Manila from the province and John promised to help him get a job when they met.
Last December, however, Ken suddenly decided to end things with John and left him. John claims that Ken also stole his savings, amounting to P15,000.
In defense, Ken says John is only making up the story because he only wants to get revenge on him. Who between them is telling the truth? Can they at least be friends again or will their financial dispute end their relationship?
Don't miss "Engkwentro" with Karen Davila tomorrow (Feb 19) on ABS-CBN, 4:45 PM in Kapamilya Gold. For updates on the two programs, follow @PinoyTruStories on Twitter.
