The rumor about the rift between Maricel Soriano and Gerald Anderson during the first day taping of the teleserye “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin” was confirmed by ABS-CBN. The Diamond Star will no longer be part of the cast.
Earlier today, a rumor came out saying that Maricel Soriano allegedly shouted at Gerald Anderson during the first day taping of their teleserye on ABS-CBN. The reason why “Taray Queen” did such was because Gerald was said to be having difficulties in portraying his role which caused delays in the shooting.
After the “unfortunate incident,” the Diamond Star has reportedly walked out of the venue.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN confirmed the incident via a statement on Monday night, January 21, saying Maricel will no longer be part of the cast.
A report by PEP.ph says “Walang Hanggan” star Dawn Zulueta will assume the vacated slot.
Here is ABS-CBN’s official statement regarding this matter:
Due to the unfortunate incident between Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano that transpired on the first taping day of "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin," the ABS-CBN management and the management of Maricel Soriano have agreed that Maricel will no longer be part of the cast. The teleserye starring Gerald Anderson will proceed as scheduled. Bong R. Osorio
