Two local box-office hits of 2012–”The Mistress” and “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme”–are listed on Kristn.com‘s Top 10 Most Disappointing Movies of the Year.
“The Mistress,” 2012′s highest-grossing Filipino movie, was cited by Kristn.com as a romantic drama which “failed at exploring the very premise that made it even relatively exciting.” It was ranked at no. 8 in the list mostly comprised by Hollywood films.

The other Filipino movie in the “disappointing” list is the Eugene Domingo-starrer “Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme,” also one of 2012′s top-grossers. The Kristn team deemed that the comedy movie failed to live up to the original.
