Bea Alonzo on the early demise of A Beautiful Affair, maybe it didn't measure up Feb 13th 2013, 03:27 Bea Alonzo is unfazed by rumors about the poor ratings of  “A Beautiful Affair”  that led to its early demise. “A Beaufiful Affair” lasted only three (3) months.  The teleserye came immediately after  the box office hit, “The Mistress.” Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, “The Mistress”  was  shown September 2012 and  was the biggest local hit movie of 2012. Bea said: “We just came from a movie that did so well. Parang ganun lang naman siguro talaga yun, maybe it didn't measure up or something." source:  PEP
