The lead star of “Silver Linnings Playbook” , Bradley Cooper has told BBC News that he is interested in playing the role of Lance Armstrong in a film. Lance Armstrong was stripped of Tour de France titles due to doping.
According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot partners JJ Abrams and Bryan Burk are going to make a movie about the epic rise and fall of doping bicyclist Lance Armstrong.
Bradley Cooper says that if the production calls for him, he is certainly up to doing Armstrong’s biopic.
“I think he’s fascinating. What a fascinating character,” Cooper told the BBC. “I remember thinking, ‘that would be a great character. I’d love to play that character.’ I would love to do something, I think he’s pretty fascinating.”
