BIR record shows Korean Ryan Bang is not paying taxes, files tax evasion case! Jan 31st 2013, 09:02 Based on the tax filings of ABS-CBN, Summit Publishing and Studio 23 among others, Korean Ryan Bang host of “It’s Showtime” received at least P3.05 million in income in 2010 and 2011! But, BIR also found out that Bang did not file any income or percentage tax returns for the period of 2012 and 2011 form his income earnings of the said period. Thus, on Thursday, BIR  filed tax evasion charges against Bang, whose real name is Hyun Sung Bank. BIR computed Bang’s deficiency income and percentage taxes for 2010 and 2011 which amounted to a total of P1.8 million, including surcharge and interest. The BIR said Bang violated sections 254 and 255 of the National Internal Revenue Code. Bang faces a fine of P30,000 to P100,000 and imprisonment of 2 to 4 years for tax evasion.
