'It's Showtime' Beats 'Eat Bulaga!' Jan 4th 2013, 01:40 'It's Showtime' Beats 'Eat Bulaga!' Beating its long-running rival show, "It's Showtime" continues to be the most watched noontime variety program nationwide. ABS-CBN's noontime offering had a winning streak in national TV ratings in the last week of December, overtaking its rival program, Television And Production Exponents' (TAPE) "Eat Bulaga!" According to the latest TV ratings data of multinational market research group Kantar Media, "It's Showtime" garnered 13.9% in nationwide ratings last December 26 (Wednesday), compared to "Eat Bulaga," which earned a national TV rating of 12.4%. The subsequent yearender episodes of "It's Showtime" also drew in more TV viewers nationwide, compared to its rival program: 14.4% vs 13.4% (December 27); 13.4% vs 13.1% (December 28); and 13.2% vs 12.8% (December 29).
