The 11th Philippine Quill Awards, the country’s most prestigious award-giving body that recognizes excellence in the business communication, will be aired on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel (SkyCable ch. 27) on Jan 23 (Wed) at 10:30 p.m. and Jan 27 (Sun) at 9:30 a.m.
The four top winners include Smart Communications Inc.’s “Project Visa” (Top Award in Communication Management), ABS-CBN’s online news website DZMM.com.ph (Top Award in Communication Skills), Stratworks and Unilever Philppines’ “Axe End of the World Survival Kit (Top Award in Communication Creatives), and De La Salle University’s “The La Sallian Facebook Page” (Top Award in the Philippine Student Quill).
Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards honored the companies and the school that bagged the most number of awards by giving out three new recognitions.
Smart Communications bagged the first Company of the Year title, followed by the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) as 1st runner-up and ABS-CBN as 2nd runner-up. Ogilvy PR Manila won the Agency of the Year, while Colegio San Juan de Letran was named School of the Year.
The 11th Philippine Quill Awards' gold sponsors include ABS-CBN Corporation, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, San Miguel Corporation, and Smart Communications Inc.; silver sponsors included Flawless Aesthetic Clinic, Manila Water Company, and Security Bank Corporation; and bronze sponsors Banco De Oro, First Philippine Holdings Corporation, Lopez Holdings Corporation, Manila Electric Co., Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, Pag-Ibig Fund, and Team Energy.
Media partners, meanwhile, were Adobo Magazine; ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel; Business Mirror, BusinessWorld, DZMM TeleRadyo, The Manila Bulletin, Manila Standard Today, Mediabanc, and The Philippine Star. Official tabulator was Reyes Tacandong and Co.
