GMA Network, in its reply to Sarah Lahbati's latest tweets, maintains that the actress – a homegrown talent developed, trained, and promoted by GMA – has violated its contract with the network.

In response to the young actress’ latest tweets, the Kapuso Network released a new statement saying that it is "not going to comment at this time on the other statements of Sarah Lahbati that has no relevance to the violation of her contract with GMA." It further added that the walk-out incident involving the actress is still being investigated.
This follows a number of tweets posted by Sarah Lahbati on her Twitter account after the Kapuso Network issued a statement yesterday, January 3, which was in response to an earlier set of tweets from the StarStruck winner.
In the earlier GMA statement, the Network pointed out that Sarah Lahbati's request to take a leave of absence of one month from GMA Network to de-stress and unwind was disapproved because her reasons were vague and due to her pending obligations.
The actress, however, tweeted on the evening of January 2 that she will go to Switzerland despite the disapproval given to her last December.
The Network also mentioned that Sarah Lahbati is under investigation specifically for walking out from a taping, which incurred a substantial increase in the production cost.
GMA Network's reply to Sarah Lahbati's latest tweets:
- GMA maintains its position that Sarah Lahbati violated her contract with the network.
- The walk-out incident from a taping of Sarah Lahbati is still being investigated. We welcome Sarah's denial that she walked out from that taping and her denial will expedite the action(s) we will take depending on the result of our investigation because there will no longer be any need to ask her to explain.
- We are not going to comment at this time on the other statements of Sarah Lahbati that has no relevance to the violation of her contract with GMA.
- Sarah Lahbati was discovered by the network and is a homegrown talent developed, trained, and promoted by the network.
