Kantar Media – Top 20 Weekend Programs and Top 20 Cable Channels in December 2012 Jan 11th 2013, 05:35 Kantar Media has released the report for the Top 20 weekend programs nationwide and the Top 20 cable channels in December 2012. The live telecast of “Pacquiao-Marquez 4″ tops list while Cinema One leads the most-watched cable channels in the country. HIGHLIGHTS Ferocious Filipino Fights! On December 9, 2012, Manny Pacquiao faced his long-time rival, Juan Manuel Marquez for the fourth time. The much anticipated main event on GMA received a rating of 20.35% with over 14 million viewers nationwide. Solar Sports also aired the event, as well as the weigh-ins of the fighters. The Solar Sports weigh-ins received more than 420,000 viewers nationwide whereas their airing actual event garnered nearly 165,000. Then, the following week, on December 16, boxing fans were once again reminded why Nonito Donaire is called the "Filipino Flash" as he finished Jorge Arce with a flurry of power punches.
