Gerald said that the photo was taken during their movie promo tour in Davao City for the movie “24/7″. And Gerald talk about what ensued during the promo tour with Maja that led to their meeting -up in Misibis Bay, in Albay. Gerald narrated: “Nag-usap kami, tinatanong ko siya kung anong magagandang vacation spots na pwede puntahan. Tapos yun sinabi niya Misimis Bay,” “Ta’s ako naman, sabi ko, ‘Wow, mukhang exciting ‘yan, masaya. And then binanggit niya (Salvador), pupunta siya kasama mga pinsan niya, marami sila, kapatid niya, pamilya niya is going, dahil ‘yun nga, bridal shower.” “Sabi ko, ‘Kailan? I’ll get a group of my friends, para marami tayo, so we can all go. So ayun na, naayos na, so after ng vacation ko ng pamilya ko, we all went there.” The rest is history now with all the buzz about them dating together and that i causes a rift between the friendship of Maja with Kim Chiu.
