Sarah Geronimo Wins Best Asian Artist at MAMA 2012; Nora Aunor and Eddie Garcia Nominated at Asia Pacific Film Festival 2012 Dec 1st 2012, 10:19 Sarah Geronimo Wins Best Asian Artist at MAMA 2012; Nora Aunor and Eddie Garcia Nominated at Asia Pacific Film Festival 2012 Sarah Geronimo was named the Best Asian Artist in the Philippines at the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). Other winners include Agnes Monica for Indonesia, My Tam for Vietnam, Taufik Batisah for Singapore, Li Yuchun for China, AKB48 for Japan and Wang Leehom for Taiwan. *** Nora Aunor and Eddie Garcia are nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor at the 55th Asia Pacific Film Festival to be held in Macau.  Nora is nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal in "Thy Womb" while Eddie Garcia is nominated in the Best Actor category for his performance in "Bwakaw," the country's official entry in the 2013 Academy Awards (Oscars). *** Philippines was awarded Best Film at Hanoi International Film Festival courtesy of Lawrence Fajardo's Posas.
