Gus Abelgas will look back on four major murder cases where "SOCO" took part in the investigation and resolution in a special yearend episode this Saturday (Dec 29) on ABS-CBN. The country's premier crime investigation program does not only feature crime stories but also sees to it offenders face the law.
"SOCO" prompted and saw through the arrest of the suspects of the separate murders of Albert Ringor and Danilo Dizon, whose families had sought justice for over ten years. When both families sought help from the program, "SOCO" immediately teamed up with PNP's Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in hunting down the suspects.
Another notable case aired in "SOCO" this year was that of Glaudia Schnelli, who was said to have been raped before she was killed by her mother's former live-in partner. The suspect, who had been at large for two years, was arrested two days after "SOCO" featured the case.
Meanwhile, the program also helped in the resolution of the Leslie Marquez murder case. Since "SOCO" aired the case in 2011, three of the four suspects have already been captured.
