The superhero movie “Marvel’s The Avengers” from Walt Disney Pictures is the highest-grossing film in the Philippines for 2012. The Joss Whedon flick also holds the record for being the highest-grossing movie in the country for all time!

It’s nice to know that three Filipino films are in the Top 10 side by side with big-budgeted Hollywood creations: “The Misstress” at no. 4, “This Guy’s In Love With U, Mare!” at no. 5 and “UnOfficially Yours” at no. 9.
